Our Philosophy
Working Towards A Better World was the slogan we chose to appear on our banner. It reflects our efforts to encourage healthy living, both individually and collectively, which requires not only willingness to act but also knowledge. We provide people with opportunities to see issues from more than one perspective, offering a wide variety of books and periodicals.
We also strongly believe in the motto: until you change the way money works, you change nothing. This is the motto of From The Wilderness Publications, which was established by Michael C. Ruppert (one of Josh’s heroes) to alert people to the political, economic and ecological realities that we must all face. Essential to reversing the current trends of the consolidation of wealth and power is localizing. We must support sustainable agriculture and other local industries as much as possible, which helps to strengthen the local economy and community. If we don’t start supporting the local economy, we will soon be completely dependent on large multinational corporations for absolutely everything we consume, which is a frightening possibility. Not only will our jobs continue to be eliminated or transferred to poorer nations, but we will find that our government will be more and more accountable to private interests rather than to the people.
